Nobody takes mini golf too seriously — until it’s time to pick a team name, and suddenly everyone has an opinion. Good mini golf team names should match that same mix of silly and competitive.
Mini golf goes by a few names too — putt-putt, crazy golf, minigolf — but the games and the naming style stay pretty much the same everywhere.
This list covers every style, from funny and cute to bold and pun-heavy, plus a few built around the course themes many mini golf spots already have.
Pick the style that fits your group and get started.

Match Your Name to the Course
A lot of mini golf courses have their own theme — pirates, dinosaurs, jungle ruins, outer space. Most team name lists skip this completely and just hand out generic funny or clever names that could work anywhere.
If you already know which course you’re playing, matching your team name to it is an easy win. A pirate-themed course pairs naturally with something like “The Pirate Putters.” A space-themed one fits “Galaxy Green Team.” It’s a small touch, but it makes the name feel like it belongs to that exact outing instead of just any golf day.
Check the Themed Putting Team Names list above if this fits your plan. If you don’t know the course theme yet, any of the other categories work just as well.
